Age & Opportunity is proud to announce the launch of the WISE: Artists & Older People Network, a new initiative designed to connect and support artists working with older people across the Republic of Ireland.
The WISE network fosters collaboration by sharing information, resources, and opportunities, creating a vibrant community dedicated to creativity and care. Members will gain access to networking events, professional development opportunities, and a potential platform to connect with care settings and organisations seeking artistic partnerships.

Network Eligibility
To become a member of WISE, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a practicing artist as defined in sign up form.
- Have demonstrated experience working with older people in settings such as:
- Residential or healthcare facilities (nursing homes, hospitals, care centres).
- Community-based organisations (daycare centres, community hospitals, arts organisations).
- Other participatory based work, in community or other group settings, with older people.
- Be actively working within the Republic of Ireland.
