Session 1: Pandemic Perspectives: Assessing the impact of Covid-19

Chaired by Dance Ireland CEO, Sheila Creevey, this panel discussion will look at the impact of the pandemic on the field of dance with older people from a medical, artistic and participant perspective; what has changed and what could the future hold? Followed by Q&A.

We’ll hear from independent dance artists, Roisín Whelan and Helen Keenan, who have been taking their first steps into this area of practice under extraordinary circumstances and across community and care settings. They will joined by their mentors Anthea McWilliams and Catherine Donnelly, with time for questions from the floor.
