To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Bealtaine Festival invites members of the public to share their photos and videos from past festivals, spanning from 1995 to 2024.
We’re inviting you to share your photos and videos from festivals past—whether you captured a magical moment in 1995 or a creative spark in 2024. Your memories will help us honour three vibrant decades of art, connection, and creativity as we age.
Why share?
Selected images and videos will shine both online and at the 2025 festival, hosted at Project Arts Centre. From February to May, we’ll also feature some of your submissions on our website and social media to build excitement leading up to the big event. Even more special, a curated selection will be printed and displayed during the festival!
When we showcase your images, we’ll highlight key details like the year, event, and location—ensuring each story is celebrated. Professional photographers will be credited where applicable.

How to submit an Image or Video
By submitting an image or video to Bealtaine Festival, you are giving permission for the image or video to be used in public promotion for the 2025 festival, and for the image/video to be stored permanently as part of the private Bealtaine Festival archive.
To submit a video or image, email the file as an attachment to arts@ageandopportunity.ie
- If the file is over 2GB, please use WeTransfer to send the files. https://wetransfer.com/
- Please include in your submission email if you give permission for the following:
- For the image/Video to be used in public promotion of the Festival
- For the image/video to be stored permanently in the Bealtaine Festival Archive.
- Details of the image/video:
- Your Name (this won’t be publicly shared)
- Name of organisation or group (if applicable)
- Year taken
- Name of Event
- Location of Event
- Professional photographer credit (if applicable)
Criteria for submission
Age & Opportunity will review all material submitted; however we cannot guarantee that all material will be selected or used.
The criteria for submission of any images of videos is as follows
- You must be the owner of the video or image
- The video or image must feature a Bealtaine Festival event, taken anytime between 1995 – 2024. Images can be of any of the following but not limited to: a performance, a workshop, an outdoor or online event, of the audience or a particular group involved.
- Due to the specific permissions around including minors in imagery, we ask that the images / videos do not contain children (or that children are not identifiable)
- The images or videos submitted must have been taken in a public setting (not in a private home for example).
