Do you want to be a ‘Book’ in the Human Library ?
As part of Bealtaine this year, we’re partnering with the Human Library to host a pop-up Human Library café. We’re inviting people to apply to take part as a ‘Book’ in the library, read below for more information!
Do you defy a stereotype, have you been marginalised or misunderstood? Are you like an open book, willing to be a resource for other’s understanding and do you have valuable experiences that Readers could benefit from learning about? Are you motivated to help others explore stigma and prejudices through dialogue and personal conversations, without taking offence at unintentional missteps in language? Then maybe you can become an Open Book and engage in conversations with our Readers.
We create safe spaces for brave encounters between open Books and curious Readers, leading to greater empathy and mutual understanding.

The Human Library will take place on Saturday 3rd May, in the afternoon, in Dublin. ‘Books’ would need to be available for the whole afternoon, as well as attend an online training in advance.
