Event Description:
The Art of Living by filmmaker Cormac O’Connor is a documentary that invites older people to reflect on the creativity throughout their lives. O’Connor filmed eight Corkonians in their homes, gardens and neighbourhoods: artists, designers, community activists and leaders. The film takes a meditative look at the contributions of Marion Britton, Liz Downes, Clare Greene, Pat Hegarty, Brigid Madden, Emily Murphy, Maureen Prendergast and Jim Savage to their communities and County Cork.
