Event Description:
Galway City Council Arts Office in partnership with Saolta Arts presents a Virtual Reality Pilot Project with Manuela Corbari and Yvonne Cullivan.
A virtual reality pilot will take place during Bealtaine to test VR with patients in Merlin Park University Hospital. Immersive reality, will be offered by the artists through visual, aural and tactile objects. Participants will be able to choose from a menu of different “journeys” e.g: the woods, the seaside. The artists will record the engagement through photography, recording and participant testimony.
