A collective work made by our residents in Glenaulin. Artwork will be displayed inside the main entrance of our care home for all to admire.
Nature walk with the residents- collecting natural material around the ground of the nursing home.
Using these materials collected with we intent to create a floral textural stain glass effect art piece.
Making butterfly ornaments-using the salt dough technique, we will create small butterflies. These butterflies represent hope, change and life. These butterflies will be painted and displayed. Conversational group discussions about different seasons of the year. The residents will give their response on paper floral shapes they created. We will also have a local poet named Paul Murray, doing some poetry reading about nature between 10.30am – 12.00pm on Friday, May the 20th with light refreshments.
