Event Description

Our resident chef has a new toy! No prizes for guessing- it’s a giant BBQ and he would love the chance to help us to celebrate what we hope is an end to the last two years of being apart. Now that we can all be safely together again, the staff and residents of Ballincollig Community Nursing Unit would like to showcase some of our creative talents by spending the week encouraging people to once again use the space around them – through the facilitation of visual art workshops, music, spirituality and song.

On Friday 20th May-as our chef fires up his BBQ in an effort to reward us with culinary creativity at its best, the residents will be enjoying an exhibition of their creative endeavors during 2022. We would like to pay special thanks to our wonderful resident Irene -who has transformed our chapel and surroundings with her vibrant impressions of biblical scenery (acrylic on canvas).

Our main celebratory event is starting at 3pm on Friday 20th May. Please come and join us as we reflect the spirit of Bealtaine – and bring your best party hat!
