Join author Isla McGuckin for a welcoming and inspiring writing workshop that invites you to reflect on your life, share your stories, and explore your creativity in a supportive setting. Beginning with gentle oral storytelling to spark connection, participants will be guided through simple exercises to capture personal experiences, memories and moments that have shaped their journey. A selection of these stories will – with the authors’ permission – be collated into a beautifully illustrated book to leave a tangible legacy of each participant’s unique / creative contribution to the arts and ageing. This project builds on Isla’s previous publication Leap, continuing her work in capturing powerful, personal stories.
