Event Description:
Sandra King, operator of Irish Fibre Crafters, is a spinner, dryer and weaver who is passionate about natural fibres, especially wool. She demonstrates and teaches these ancient traditional crafts at her studio in Ardrahan, County Galway. Her materials come directly from the local farmers, whom she supports in her work. Sandra is enthusiastic about sustainable fashion and circular economy is very actively involved with Fibreshed Ireland, as well as the guild and Midwest Spinners Group. If you love craft and what to release your own creative talents, you will be in the right place.
