Join Gráinne Taylor in our Main Gallery Space in creating a unique personal bag to pop your books in at the library or when you are doing your returns. (Of course, you can also use it for your market veggies, a few errands or beach supplies- we won’t be checking on you!)
No previous experience is required and all tools and materials will be provided.
Tote bags are so useful and here’s an opportunity to let your creativity flow and make your own library bag using a lovely cotton tote bag and heat transfer vinyl!
In this workshop, you can create your image by cutting out shapes from the wide variety of coloured vinyl provided and build a unique personal bag The shapes can be made with scissors very easily and there will be plenty of help available to get designs done.
When the cutting part is finished the colours are attached with a heat press which makes the image totally laundry friendly and long lasting. The project will be finished and ready to take home by the end of the workshop. The bag needs to cure overnight and is ready to use the next day.
All tools, vinyl and a lovely cotton tote bag provided. The workshop will take one and a half to two hours.
