Tuesday 10th May
10.00 am -1.00pm Age Friendly Tipperary presents “Reminiscing Back in My Day, the Story continues” with a visit to Thurles Library by Jimmy Duggan who collated and narrated the 2021 volume of stories capturing memories from older people of their lives growing up in Tipperary: https://www.tipperarycoco.ie/community-and-economic-development/back-my-day. To continue this project Tipperary Age Friendly invites meet with Jimmy who will collect and collate a new volume of stories to be launched and showcased during Positive Ageing Week

“Focus on Four” Bealtaine Readings are part of “Bridging the Distance”, a Tipperary Bealtaine Project commissioned by Tipperary Arts Office and presented in association with Tipperary Libraries. Edited by writer Margaret Galvin, contributing writers include Mary O’Gorman, Clonmel, Richard Cahill, Clogheen, Mary Caulfield, Cahir and Ann Dempsey, Carrick On Suir.
