The Irish Architecture Foundation is proud to offer a unique guided walking tour on the past and present of Temple Bar, led by Michael McDermott, as part of the Bealtaine Festival. Places are limited, so reserve yours today!

Accessibility:
This tour will feature a wireless audio system, allowing you to hear the guide clearly through individual earpieces. Volunteers will be on hand to assist in setting these up before the tour begins. Please arrive a few minutes early for this.

The tour will involve walking on uneven surfaces, which may include cobblestones and brick pavements. Temple Bar is a busy and potentially noisy area with foot traffic which may cause difficulties with navigation. This tour will follow a relaxed pace and there will be opportunities for rest breaks.

About the tour guide:
Michael McDermott is the director of the Liberties Festival. He was previously editor of Totally Dublin and publisher of Le Cool Dublin, where he developed a series of unique walking tours – the Le Cool Experience. Michael works with music website Nialler9 and curates events for Irish Design Week among others. A selection of his projects can be viewed at neighbrhd.com.
