Age & Opportunity invites library staff who organise Bealtaine Festival events to join the newly formed Bealtaine Coordinators in Libraries Network. The formation of this network arises from a need identified through a focus group held with library staff in September of this year.
This network will have three functions:
- To provide information and training for Bealtaine Coordinators in planning events.
- To gather information on the needs of Bealtaine Coordinators, which Age & Opportunity can address.
- To network with each other in sharing ideas, plans and resources.
It is proposed that the network would meet bi-annually (online), once in autumn and once in spring. The meeting would be planned and facilitated by Age & Opportunity.
The first meeting of the network will take place in late November.
