| Artists' Lives | Bealtaine Festival 2018

Roddy Doyle, Joanna Banks, Rhona Clarke and Abigail O’Brien are all artists of different disciplines with significant and celebrated careers. They came together with Chair Cliodhna Ni Anluain to discuss the milestones, challenges and choices made by them as artists. The event aimed to offer an insight into the factors faced by many artists during their careers and to celebrate their ultimate success through longevity and survival. As such, Artists’ Lives is of interest to those embarking on their own careers as artists in varied disciplines, experienced artists interested in hearing about different life-choices, pathways and pitfalls, and other wider publics interested in how artists live. Presented in association with the Irish Writers Centre, Dance Ireland and the Contemporary Music Centre Ireland. Available to listen to on our soundcloud.

Bealtaine is an Age & Opportunity Programme, supported by the Arts Council.
