Central to this solo exhibition is Protest (2012) a 10m long installation in which Molloy rounds up a miniature mob of protesters in a collective meta march. Detaching them from their original context, Molloy bands them together in a heterogeneous micro-procession of picketers from various periods in history. Tom Molloy received his MA in Fine Art from The National College of Art & Design in 1992. Widely exhibited nationally and internationally, he is represented by Rubicon Gallery, Ireland. His work is included in various public and private collections including The Irish Museum of Modern Art, The Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealain, National Self Portrait Collection, The Zabludowicz Collection and London and Princeton University Art Museum, USA.
